Tamron Lens Rebate Offer
Available through Amazon.com, Tamron is offering $50 and $60 mail in rebates on selected lenses. This is a good opportunity to save some money on either the Tamron AF 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC LD Aspherical IF Macro Zoom Lens or the Tamron AF 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical (IF) Macro Zoom Lens.
I personally owned the 18-200 as my all-around lens for my Canon DSLR, and I was pleased with the results. I always shoot on a tripod, so my sharpness was always good. The new 18-270mm seems to be a nice addition to Tamron’s line, giving a great zoom range for any APS-C sized sensor digital camera, and adding vibration reduction to boot. I wouldn’t hesitate adding this as an everyday lens. Its listed in the Top-10 of our Top 100 list.
