Geepers! This thing records excellent HD video and sound, and for the price and its small size, there isn’t any reason NOT to have one stowed in your camera bag. Again, shame on you, shame on me… But then again, if our digital SLRs have HD video, then, never mind.

A couple of negatives, but then again, this camera isn’t aimed at the professional cinematographer:

• No image stabilization. But it does have a tripod mount!
• No optical zoom
• Mono sound
